Success at Bionow Awards for Medilink Member

Bionow’s Biomedical Company of the Year – Advanced Medical Solutions.....long standing member of Medilink North West

The November awards organised by Bionow (the NWDA biomedical cluster support group) showcased the very best of the region’s world class biotechnology sector and with over 200 people in attendance the night was a huge success.

Winners of the Biomedical Company of the Year Award were Advanced Medical Solutions - a longstanding member of Medilink North West. Advanced Medical Solutions are a leading company in the development and manufacture of wound care and wound closure products whose brands include LiquiBand and ActivHeal.

According to Mark Hughes, NWDA Executive Director of Economic Development,

“England’s Northwest is one of the UK’s top three biomedical clusters, home to world class biotechnology and internationally renowned research capability in this sector. The Northwest Biotechnology Awards recognises excellence in the sector and rewards the success and achievements of the people and organisations that are making a significant contribution to the industry and the region.”
