Exciting New Initiatives for Members

Two exciting new initiatives for Medilink North West members are to become available this Autumn. 

'Clinical Link'

The North West has national and international strengths in clinical research and this service will provide members with:

• A report detailing relevant clinical and research expertise across the North of England
• Access to research active investigators, research nurses, Allied Health Professionals, non- clinical experts and research support staff across the North of England
• Contacts across acute, primary care, specialist NHS Trusts, research networks and clinical research centres in the North of England

'NHS Procurement Surgeries'

Understanding the intricacies of the NHS procurement service can be daunting therefore a regular surgery will be run at the offices of Medilink North West to:

• Offer members a one-to-one meeting with a senior procurement manager from the NW collaborative Commercial Agency to assist in understanding current purchasing strategies.
• Encourage the purchasing of new technologies and innovation within the NHS

Both initiatives are to be available from late autumn 2009 with full details to follow shortly.
