Directions

By Air:

Manchester International airport is within easy of the Science Park (20 minutes by car or taxi), with regular scheduled flights to all other parts of the UK, Europe and International destinations. There is a direct rail link from the Airport to Piccadilly Railway Station.

By Train & Bus:

From Piccadilly or Victoria train stations get the tram or walk to Piccadilly Gardens stop where any of the following buses will take you near to the Science Park: 46, 47, 85, 99, 101, 104, 108, and 109. Also the 42,142,43,143 can be used, alighting at Manchester University Students Union or the Dental Hospital and following signs for Manchester Science Park.

From Oxford Road train station get any of the above buses. Taxis are available at all these points.

By Road:

Please note that Manchester Science Park is adjacent to the University of Manchester and is approximately five minutes drive from the city centre. Follow signs to the universities to assist you but please also see attached street map for details .

From the North (M6):

Leave the M6 via the M61 and continue to the M60. Join the M60 and travel anti-clockwise to Junction 12 and join the M602. Then join the A57 Regent Road to the A57 (M) Mancunian Way. At the roundabout, take the 3rd exit onto A5103/Princess Road. Then take a slight left at Princess Road, followed by slight left at Greenheys Lane West, turn right after 0.2 miles and the Science Park is on the left.

From the Northeast (M62):

Leave the M62 at Junction 18 to merge into the M60 (Manchester). At Junction 12 exit onto the M602 towards Salford. Continue on the A57 following signs for A57/Manchester city centre. Slight right at A57/Regent Road and continue taking the A57. Take the ramp to Mancunian Way and then at the roundabout, take the 3rd exit onto A5103/Princess Road. Then take a slight left at Princess Road, followed by a slight left at Greenheys Lane West, turn right after 0.2 miles and the Science Park is on the left.

From the South (M6):

Leave the M6 at Junction 19 onto the A556 and then join the M56 at Junction 8 heading towards the Airport. Continue along the M56, which will then become the A5103 (Princess Road). Take a slight right onto Greenheys Lane West, and then turn right to stay fully on Greenheys Lane West. After 0.2 miles turn right and the Science Park is on the left.

From the South (M1):

From the M1 join the M6 at Junction 19 and then follow directions from South (M6).

From the West (M61 & M62):

Leave the M62 at Junction 12 and join the M602 Salford. The end of the motorway will join the A57 Manchester (becoming the A57 (M) after 1 mile). Leave the Mancunian Way, A57 (M) at the A34 Congleton sign, bearing left onto the A34. Once on Upper Brook Street (A34) turn right at the 5th set of traffic light into Grafton Street.
